The design industry is rapidly evolving, as too are clients needs. Digital printing was just edging in over litho printing when I first started working in print, and I am very glad to have had the hands on experiences and opportunities to learn about traditional medias, which are still valid today, however, there’s never an excuse to be left behind and demonstrating a full understanding of modern technologies alongside the experience of more traditional processes gives me a very broad scope of knowledge to draw from.

NCFE Level 2 Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness
I started this course in May 2025 because not only do I have a particular love for being outside in the open countryside and all things environmental, but I have also worked with several clients in the 'green industries' sector, and in doing so have acquired great depth of knowledge, particularly in passivhaus principles, enerphit and MVHR units.
I wanted to do this course to formally demonstrate that I understand the principles behind why we should be moving towards a more sustainable future. I was absolutely delighted to receive notification that I had passed, with some absolutely glowing feedback too!
